  • Hi, Can you explain why we don’t have to enter [column_num] for the combined function Match/Index? I saw we had to enter it before for Match function. Is it because there were multiple columns in the previous example with the same/similar string? I just want to make sure. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

When I use the drag feature, it just copies the same number into all the cells below (“2” in this case) instead of changing the formula accordingly for each different cell. (I am suppose to get 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 instead)

Can you explain why it copies down the same number instead of giving me different calculations for each cell? (I see it changed the cell names but still shows me “2” instead of calculating what is inside each cell based on the formulas)

Could it possibly be a glitch in software?

    Thanks in advance!
    Gozde

    • Just to be clear, I did not use any “$” sign for the first example and there wasn’t any in the cells (I double checked). I was still shown the same result from the first cell but with different cell names (1+A15, 1+A16, etc.)

      • I finally figured it out. The calculations was set for “manual” values instead of “automatic”.

        Thanks anyways 🙂

Hi Gozde, new student here! 👋. How has your experience been so far? I recently purchased the course and I don’t see any registration option anywhere. If you could quickly just point me at the right direction it’ll be much appreciated. Thank you
